Cornerstone Academy would love to partner with you in educating your children. We have three simple steps in our application process.
- Complete the online application and download the printed forms.
- Complete the printed forms and return them with the registration fees to Cornerstone Academy.
- School Office contacts parents to schedule a meet and greet with an administrator and an assessment for students entering K-12.
Why a Meet & Greet?
Families who considers Cornerstone Academy probably has a few questions about details. Likewise, Cornerstone wants to get to know the families and hear about their goals for their kids. An administrator meets with each family to welcome and transition them into the school.
What does an assessment look like?
The assessment test involves age appropriate reading, writing, and mathematics exercises. Usually the teacher of your chid’s grade would give the test and discuss the results with the administrator. Results will then be shared with the parents.
Students will be given a passage from an age appropriate book to read. Kindergarten and first grade students will identify letters and their sounds. An age appropriate spelling test may also be given.
Students will be asked to demonstrate their penmanship, letter and number formation, and name writing skills on paper. A short essay may also be requested for upper level students.
Students are given a test from our curriculum for their current grade level. This part of the assessment test involves solving age appropriate problems.
How long is a Meet & Greet?
A standard interview usually takes about an hour.
Please complete your online enrollment first. At the end of the online enrollment, please print the downloads. If you are unable to retrieve them, you may print from these enrollment documents.
